Now nine weeks have come and gone just like that and I just cannot.

1. Basic Trainfire Package (BTP)
- Attire: Long 4, SBO, helmet and SAR21
- Positions: Fox-hole, squat/ high kneel, standing

2. 6 days/ 5 nights Field Camp + SIT test
- Attire: Long 4, SBO with assault bag + 3 litre water bag/ full FBO, helmet, SAR21
- Make up: Black and green camo
- Shell Scrape: To dig with ET stick and blade within 3 hours
- Full IFC and SIT test
- High-kneel/ squat throughout entire field camp
- Yes, we also did a lot of leopard crawling

3. Close Quarter Battle (CQB) aka Urban Operations (UO)
- Attire: Long 4, SBO with 3 litre water bag and assault bag, helmet, SAR21
- Make up: Black and green camo
- Day and night UO

4. Hand Grenade (HG)
- Attire: Long 4, SBO, helmet, SAR21
- Day 1: DAC, GAC
- Day 2: Dummy grenade, SPG 93, SGF 87, emergency drills

5. Battle Inoculation Course (BIC) 
- Attire: Long 4, SBO, helmet, SAR21
- Make up: Black and green camo

6. Standard Obstacles Course (SOC)
- Attire: Long 4, helmet
- Excluded: Low wall

7. 24km route march
- Attire: Long 4, full FBO, helmet, SAR21 + assault bag + PT shoes + other personal belongings

It wasn't easy, but 9 weeks of BMT in Tekong was a blast.
